A Little About What We Do
WTHP is currently working diligently on the next walk scheduled for July
2007. This year's walk is dubbed "A Journey to Heal the Navajo Nation."
Check out our route on our 2007 Events Page. We are also in the process of
editing and producing our next video to be released this summer.
Walking the Healing Path is in its fourth year of bringing attention to the
general public, the devastating effects domestic violence has on our precious
families and communities. We are also in our second year of giving back to
the communities of the Navajo Nation and beyond through our annual Gift of
Warmth Elderly and Kids Coat Drive, which is a project that we enjoy and are
proud of because it allows us to meet new people and more importantly it
allows us to give a warm coat to our most vital resources...our youth and our
elderly who might not have the resources to acquire coats themselves. We
have also:
Along with the awareness walks and coat drive WTHP is available to provide
presentations or guest speaking to schools, businesses, conferences,
correctional facilities and any programs that deal directly with issues related
to domestic violence.
Our presentations range from one and a half to two hours long and consist of
our personal stories of domestic violence and our life changing recovery. All
three of us have walked both sides of the line, as abusers and as victims of
domestic violence. We have committed our lives to become a solution to this
ever growing problem and look forward to sharing our story with anyone
willing to listen and learn from our mistakes.

- Coordinated and completed "A Journey Home from Bosque Redondo"
a 450 mile trek that took 29 days to complete and educated 10
communities and countless individuals.
- Delivered 200 coats to the communities of Forrest Lake and Navajo
Mountain AZ since January 2007.
- Acquired five wood stoves to be given to area elderly thanks to the
generosity of the National Relief Charities from Phoenix Arizona.
