Welcome to our web site, and thank you for taking the time to learn
more about us. Since 2003, we at Walking the Healing Path have
committed to bringing awareness of domestic violence to the many
families and communities that face this ever-growing epidemic. Our
goal is to share our personal story of how the devastating effects of
substance abuse and domestic violence nearly destroyed our family and
through this website you will learn of our efforts to achieve the goal of
putting a stop to violence and violence against women in all of our
communities.
Since its inception WTHP has developed from one man's mission to a
family affair that includes Founder John Tsosie, Co- founders
Stephanie Long and Ernest D. Tsosie, Jr.  who are the fiancée and
father to John respectively. Together they have coordinated,
participated in and completed three walks totaling more that 1000
miles educated over 50 communities throughout Arizona, New Mexico
and the Navajo Nation.
We are also proud to have been recognized with an award by the First
Lady and President of the Navajo Nation for our efforts and we
continue to be surprised and humbled by the support we receive from
area businesses and individuals that contribute to our success.
